Product design
Innovation, the development of new products and the commitment to unique and disruptive solutions are the hallmarks of IBCONNECT. This technology company, dedicated to the electrification of spaces and furniture for the contract sector, contacted Vidorreta Design to transfer a creative challenge and reflect on a new product line that would allow the search for new design solutions for possible future developments.
The product on which the conceptual exploration pivoted is based on a combined system of plug, USB charging ports and wireless charging for desktops and professional furniture.
It worked in collaboration with the company's design, engineering and product development department, under the supervision of the marketing and management department.
Although these products have not been included in the company's sales catalog, the challenge of approaching new ways of conceptualizing was overcome through a clear commitment to differentiation, the search for excellence through design, divergent thinking and continuous improvement.
The line of work consisted of proposing new approaches based on the improvement of the user experience, research of new system functionalities and alignment with the aesthetic trends and tendencies of the sector.
